the villains in all the great stories always had high-back chairs; christian lestrange would not defy that. one night, the chill air of rainy london filled his office, as he sat in wait. there was a problem- something that had caught his notice. he was the minister of magic; of course he had his eyes and ears everywhere. but it was more than that- he had his rebellion. the eyes and ears of every single member, everyone wanting to go back to voldemort's dark ways... except better. christian would bring them that reality. with their faith in him, they offered up everything they knew, even if it meant betraying one of their own.
they had a traitor in their group. it was awful, but true; scorpius malfoy had deviated from the family pattern, choosing to align himself with the stupid potter girl instead of chasing after the dreams that his family had always stood for. christian knew astoria and draco would be devastated; two children, and neither one was following the appropriate path for a malfoy. christian needed to do something... he needed to test the malfoy boy's loyalty to the death eaters- or to the order members. looking away from the curling orange flames of the fire, he turned his gaze to the giggling girls standing in the shadows. "girls, come here, i have a job for you."
a job for them; and a test for scorpius malfoy.-------------------------------------------
anthony finnigan was stepping up with their lack of leader. it wasn't that no one else would; most people would love to take over louis' place. but everyone was still angry, or sad, or scared; tony was the first to recover. he figured that someone had to be level-headed. he'd gotten them all to shut up- by screaming at them "shut up, the lot of you!" it had worked. now, everyone was watching him as he paced along the room, before stopping at the end of the table to put his hand on his youngest sister's shoulder. "so we don't know what's going on, but we're ready to assume louis was kidnapped." and louis better hope that was the case; because if tony found out that louis had just up and left his baby sister without a good reason, like being kidnapped, louis would have more to worry about than death eaters. "i think it should be obvious how they found out who he was." by the quiet, confused air about the place, he guessed he was the first to realize it. "come on, people! it's obviously that letch whose been hanging around the kid... that bastard malfoy is obviously using lily to get to us." and, at once, a lightbulb seemed to flash to life above everyones heads. "we need to do something... and now."
